Today I woke up to the smell of eggs, bacon, and toast. I knew it was dad cooking because he tends to burn the toast every time. My brother and I decided to go up to the hospital that my mom works at, to make some copies of papers and fax some items. I hate driving unless I'm with my significant other, so the argument of who's driving between me, Chip and Olivia, is never a big deal.
Driving to some makes them feel in control or in power. Others feel as if it's their only get away from daily stress. Don't get me wrong sometimes a person needs a good drive to unwind or think about things such as; relationships, exams, job responsibilities, and or family matters. Setting in the passenger seat has to be one of the best seats to sit in. There are no responsibilities besides the navigator aspect or being the DJ of the motor vehicle. You have nothing to worry about, the only thing you have to do is just sit back and enjoy the ride and hope that one of those big trucks don’t maul you by coming over in your lane.
Don’t you hate it when coming up to one of the tractor trailers and the trailer is weaving in and out of the lanes? Or when they speed up, when you’re about to pass them? I think life would be better if everyone had a driver. But then the drivers would want drivers.

Table of Contents
Opening my first playbook was a very exciting and scary experience. It's an overwelming feeling know that I was being trusted with the so called "Bible" of our team. I started flipping through the pages looking at personnel, stances, alignments, terminology, routes, audibles, and cadences. I made the statement, "Where should I start?" and my LB coach told me to start at the Table of Contents.
From what I learned so far it's so much easier to start from the beginning than in the middle or the end. Sometimes I go about my day working backwards instead of working forwards. I'm the type that tries to predict the future, only to stress about it later on in the day or week. I love coaching football, I love waking up in the morning preparing and expecting to win on game day. I love the strategy that's involved and the high I get before, during and after games.
There is no way I can coach my team, be successful, and have the players' trust if I, as a coach, coach them at the end. You can have the end in mind but you have to start at the beginning.
